Understand SMS delivery reports and recipient status

Sending and delivery are different events. The portal records campaign activity and individual outcomes; final delivery confirmation depends on the SMS provider. Use status and details together, not a campaign total alone.

    Read the status correctly

Successfully sent means the provider accepted the message for delivery. Delivered means the mobile network confirmed delivery. Sent - Awaiting Confirmation means sending succeeded and a conclusive network result is still pending. Not Delivered means the network reported unsuccessful delivery.

Sent - Confirmation Unavailable means the provider explicitly reported an unknown or unavailable result. A failed lookup or elapsed time alone does not establish this status. Not Sent means the SMS was deliberately excluded before sending; failed submissions are shown separately. Delivery results update as valid postbacks arrive, with no mandatory 48-hour wait. Do not resend a message just because its confirmation is missing.

Compare the right records and period

Open a campaign to inspect recipient numbers, segment counts, timestamps and available provider details. Match the reporting period when comparing Dashboard, Reports and campaign history. Totals from different ranges are not directly comparable.

Delivery percentages count messages; credit usage counts billable segments. Three recipients with two segments each produce three message records and consume six credits, not six delivered recipients.

    Export and share carefully

Use CSV, Excel or PDF exports for the campaign or report you are reviewing. Retain the reporting period and campaign reference so another person can reconcile the figures. Share recipient information only with authorised people.

Delivery reports do not prove that someone read an SMS or clicked a link. Engagement, device and geographical analytics are not promised by this release.

    Investigate before retrying

Inspect the recipient number and provider details for a confirmed failure. If a report is unavailable, ask support to investigate the reference instead of resending the entire campaign.

Provide the campaign reference, reporting period and displayed status. Do not share passwords, card details or the full contact list. This gives support evidence without exposing unnecessary personal information.
