Getting started with IEOSUIA SMS Portal
Prepare a small SMS campaign, check its credits and understand what happens after sending. This guide describes the current SMS product, not an email campaign service.
1. Sign in and prepare permitted contacts
Create your account or sign in through IEOSUIA authentication. Complete any verification requested before sending. Do not share your password with colleagues or support.
Open Contacts and create a group for your test audience. Import an Excel .xlsx or CSV file with headers, map the fields and review the counts. Check names and numbers on a few records before using the full audience. Only import contacts you are authorised to use.
Read the contact import and group guide2. Check prepaid credits
Open Wallet to review your balance. The minimum purchase is 30 credits for R10.50 before any bank transfer saving. Prices range from R0.35 to R0.22 per credit by purchase volume, and one credit sends one billable segment. No VAT is charged. Long messages may consume more credits than the recipient count.
After checkout, confirm the payment is completed and the balance has updated. Keep the reference if you need help. The redirect from checkout is not itself payment confirmation.
Estimate SMS segment costs3. Create and review a campaign
Start a new SMS campaign, name it and select recipients. Compose the message or select a saved template. Check personalisation variables and choose whether to include the configured opt-out footer.
Calculate recipients and credits after the content is final. Review duplicate and opted-out exclusions. If credits are insufficient, purchase more or reduce this campaign's audience. Removed recipients remain saved as contacts.
4. Send now or schedule later
Send immediately or choose the later-send option and verify the displayed date and time. Review the final message, audience and credit requirement before submitting.
Network processing affects arrival time after dispatch. If a campaign seems delayed, inspect its status and contact support before creating a duplicate.
Read the scheduling guide5. Review individual outcomes
Open campaign details using the view action. Successfully sent means the provider accepted your SMS for delivery; Delivered requires network confirmation. Sent - Awaiting Confirmation and Sent - Confirmation Unavailable are not confirmed failures. Not Sent means the SMS was deliberately excluded. Failed submissions are shown separately.
Delivery results update as postbacks arrive, without a mandatory waiting period. Use Reports and CSV, Excel or PDF exports for follow-up. Match the reporting period when comparing totals and protect exported recipient data. For support, share the campaign reference and status, not your full contact list.
Understand delivery statuses and exportsBefore sending to a larger audience
Check content, recipient mapping, segment usage and opt-outs with a small permitted test group. Recheck group selection for larger sends. Email Campaigns remain Coming Soon; no email editor, open tracking or A/B testing is promised.
